Is FileLumo really free?+
Yes. There is no payment, no subscription, and no paid upgrade. The service is supported without charging users for these tools.
Are my files stored forever?+
No. When a tool uses our servers, files are kept only long enough to process your request and are automatically deleted after about one hour. We do not use your documents to train AI models or for advertising.
What is the maximum file size?+
Uploads are limited to about 50 MB per file so we can keep the service fast and reliable for everyone. See the Limits page for the full list.
Do I need to create an account?+
No. FileLumo works without signup. We do not lock features behind accounts or payments.
Is processing done in my browser or on your servers?+
It depends on the tool. We prefer in-browser processing when it keeps your data on your device. Heavier conversions may use our secure API over TLS. Each tool page includes a short privacy note explaining the path.
Can I use FileLumo for confidential documents?+
Many people use us for sensitive PDFs, but you should follow your organization's policies. We recommend reading our Privacy Policy and Security pages, and avoiding tools that require upload if your policy forbids any server transit.
Do downloads have a watermark?+
No. FileLumo does not add a branding watermark to your exported files.
